Sable ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: your name, birth year, and answers you give during onboarding (e.g. what's on your mind)
Chat messages: conversations you have with Sable's AI companion are stored so your chat history is available when you return
Device and usage data: basic technical data (device type, app version, crash reports) to help us fix bugs and improve the app
Advertising data: we show ads through Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier to personalize ads, subject to your device's tracking permissions

To provide and personalize the chat experience
To generate AI responses (your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to produce replies)
To display ads through Google AdMob
To maintain and improve the app, including fixing bugs and analyzing usage trends

We use the following third-party services, which may process your data under their own privacy policies:

You can decline tracking permissions when prompted on iOS (App Tracking Transparency); this limits ad personalization but does not affect core app functionality
You can contact us to request deletion of your data (see below)

We retain your chat history and account data for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion.

Sable is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
